If you're following a plan that's restricting your intake to 1000 calories a day, your body simply won't keep up long-term.



2. You cut out entire food groups

Are you eating only protein and vegetables all day long? Are you tossing the egg yolks? Is bread a no-no? Is sugar off limits? If you're cutting out foods or entire food groups, not only will you be missing out on important nutrients, but you'll also be sacrificing your sanity. We'll have our cake and eat it too, please!'



3. You don't cook your own meals

Not only is drinking green juice all day long, living off of frozen entrees, or eating diet products that taste like cardboard gross, unappealing, and not sustainable, it's costly and unlikely you can keep shelling out the metaphorical dough beyond a few months.
